Go from an ordinary day to an extraordinary day? Here are some ideas for the holiday break ! Five fun themes for the whole family!

Knight and princess of the day

Welcome: Give the kids a wreath and greet them with foam, cardboard or real wreaths bought at the store or made with your kids . You can also give shields to children.

Snack and dinner: All meals must be “luxury” meals and associated with all the flaflas of the castle. Get disposable golden tableware, plastic champagne flutes, and more. Hold a candlelit dinner (you can use new flameless candles)

Things to do: Organize several workshops and the children can take turns doing them . Take out the musical instruments representing the castle orchestra, the hockey sticks will become horses, the beautiful clothes and music will be used for the dance party, DIY wreaths and shields with the children, etc.

Upside down day

Welcome: at the reception everyone is dressed backwards! The sweater and even the pants!

Dinner and tasting: Dessert before the main course and breakfast during dinner.

Special Event: We are really doing the opposite! Read inside out, clean your teeth before dinner, etc.

Go back, hug the toys instead of taking them out, take an afternoon nap (or switch to bedtime).

Weird Hairdressing Day

Welcome: children bring hats from home, you can greet them with a wig or curling iron. Be weird!

Grouping: the children show the different objects they have brought, they chat about different hairstyles while looking at magazine photos.

Dinner and tasting: small round pizza with spaghetti hair or hair made in vegetable spirals.

Special events: place a bin with lots of stuff for the kids, do the most original hairstyle, then parade. Check out the catalog with different hairstyles. Grooming lessons for dogs and dolls with ribbons and hats, representation of dog models and styling of each child in turn.

Animal hunting day

Welcome: offer each child an animal collar when you arrive in the morning. Children will wear it all day.

Grouping: Let the children listen to the sounds of the animals and have them match them with the correct pictures. Start discussing the habitats of different animals, their diet, the countries they live in, etc.

Lunch and tasting: cookies in the shape of small animals can be used as snacks. Dine on an animal-shaped (or animal-patterned) plate or enjoy a special dinner like animal-shaped chicken nuggets.

Special Events: Organize a treasure hunt in your house and discover all kinds of animals hidden here and there. You can imitate explorers with a magnifying glass! Take out all the games and toys that feature animals or talk about animals. Let the children draw the jungle on the large white paper hanging on the wall.
