(EN) Troubling story of 4 haunted houses. It is said that there is an Indian cemetery and that it shelters at least 12 different ghosts, in Myrtles Plantation, in Louisiana. Built in 1796, the ghost stories tell the story of an old slave named Chloé, who had his ear cut off after being caught in the act of listening. To take revenge, Chloe killed two of the master’s daughters by poisoning a birthday cake. She was then hanged by her slave companions, and today we see her wandering the plantation with a turban to hide her ear.

The Crescent Hotel, Eureka Springs, Arkansas

In 1937, millionaire inventor Norman G. Baker posed as a doctor and turned the hotel into a hospital that could cure cancer. Have you ever had chills? Norman, who had a fetish for the color purple, painted many parts of the hospital in purple, and today the fireplaces remain the same color. In addition to wearing purple shirts and ties he also drove a purple car.

People came from all over the world hoping to cure their cancer, and many of those who were treated died.Ultimately, Baker was exposed and fled the city, and today the property is an active hotel. He is said to be haunted by several ghosts, including a bearded man in Victorian clothing and a five-year-old girl.

A woman was murdered in her room on the fifth floor – some say that she was a jealous ex-boyfriend. Others say that the Lady in red was caught cheating on her husband and killed her in jealous anger – and today she haunts the guests.

Those who stayed at the hotel say that the Lady in red whispers in the ears of men and leaves pearls of her broken necklace on the pillows of customers.
