Clearly annoyed, he took a curse and went to the island with four murals of waves adorning his canoe.<\/p>\n<p>When he arrived, he planted two taro plants and kept one for himself. According to the rules of the curse, once his own plant started to germinate, a disaster would strike the island. Waves alone cannot take away small but large volcanic islands, but an underwater shake can do so. It turns out that the island has always been in balance on the edge of an unstable underwater slope. A large earthquake shook the region, which collapsed the foundations of the island and collapsed under the waves.<\/p>\n<h2><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><\/h2>\n<p><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-5440141123165360\" data-ad-slot=\"8037866731\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>This islet-sized landslide would have leaked a lot of water as it occurred, which would have generated a massive series of megatunami. It was certainly an advanced imperial state, in which language, writing, currency and law were fairly well developed.
